Meet The Richardsons

Who You Work With Matters

Just like you, we are real people too. We are more than just a husband-and-wife team of Realtors trying to earn your business. We are your neighbors in Marietta and Cobb county, adventure-seekers, pet owners, foodies, and new parents trying to figure this whole parenting thing out. We like to rewatch Game of Thrones once a year and still get upset at the last season… Neither have us have ever said no to good barbecue.

We like having fun and tend to keep things light; we never take ourselves too seriously, but never to the detriment of our clients or transaction partners. We believe our approach helps our clients accomplish their goals while creating memorable experiences.

Finally, while we would love to earn your business, we know we won’t be the right for everybody, and that’s okay. Fortunately, we will be for many. We love hearing from people, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

Mission

To help our clients outperform the market when buying or selling real estate in metro Atlanta while making the process simple, easy, enjoyable, and memorable.

Core Values

Vision

To be the real estate team of choice in Cobb and surrounding counties for buyers, sellers, and investors who value quality people and relationships above transactions.

Meet

Terence Richardson

Lead Realtor, Husband & Dad

Terence is the lead agent at Richardson Real Estate Group with over 13 years of experience in real estate, all in metro Atlanta, GA.

Outside of real estate, Terence is married to Stephanie. They were married in March 2022 and welcomed their first child, William, into the world in February 2023. Terence has a passion for all things outdoors, from hiking to kayaking and everything in between. He likes to tinker with woodworking and DIY projects. He also enjoys playing hockey, following college football, and losing to random people on the internet at chess.

Born in Canada, Terence started his first business when he was 16, building websites for local companies in his hometown. He moved to the United States in 2009 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal, QC. He also has a technology degree from Herzing College. At the time, the USA was experiencing economic turmoil; job prospects for new grads with business degrees were, to put things mildly, scarce.

After weighing his options, having a background in technology, a keen interest in homeownership, a passion for helping people, and an entrepreneurial spirit, Terence took a leap of faith and dove right into real estate amidst the worst housing crash since The Great Depression. What’s the worst that could happen, he wondered…

According to NAR, over 338,000 realtors left the industry between 2007 and 2012. “It honestly felt like I was a firefighter running towards a burning building while everybody was running away from it,”  said Terence of the real estate market in 2010.

While those first few years weren’t easy, Terence did well and earned the prestigious Rookie of the Year award from Keller Williams Realty and many other awards over the years. Since 2010, Terence has had the privilege of helping over 350 clients buy and sell a home in metro Atlanta.

Real estate transactions are big puzzles

At some point, everything's going to go south and you're going to say, this is it. This is how I end. Now, you can either accept that, or you can get to work. That's all it is. You just begin. You do the math. You solve one problem and you solve the next one and then the next. And, if you solve enough problems, you get to come home.

Honestly, this quote sums up real estate quite nicely. Things can (and will) go wrong relatively often in real estate because of the human element. How can they not; in a typical transaction, no less than 12+ different humans are involved in the process at one point or another. That’s a huge margin for error.

So when things go wrong, problems need to be solved. Solving problems happens to be what we excel at and enjoy. It’s part of what makes real estate fun Terence and Stephanie: overcoming challenges to help our clients succeed.

Between the two of us, we have decades of experience in finding solutions to problems. Today, we are still solving problems so that you, our client, may get to “come home” too.

Meet

Stephanie Richardson

Operations Lead, Wife & Mom

Stephanie is a licensed Realtor and the Operations Lead for Richardson Real Estate Group. She has over a decade of operational management excellence and she is the glue that holds everything together. Stephanie ensures that our clients and transaction partners have everything they need before they know they need it.

Outside of real estate, Stephanie is a cancer survivor. She is the wife of Terence and a brand new mom to William (Liam for short). She enjoys water sports such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and jet-skiing with the family, and she has never turned down a day at the beach.

Growing up in a military family, Stephanie had the unique opportunity to live abroad worldwide. Her family was stationed in England, Germany, and Italy for some time. The most unique place the Army sent her family to was history-rich Egypt before 9/11, for a while, and then transitioned them back to Fort McPherson in Georgia.

Stephanie attended Florida State College at Jacksonville and earned a degree in Aviation Operations with the goal of becoming an Air Traffic Controller. However, due to the economy at the time, the Federal Government put a multi-year hiring freeze into effect, forcing Stephanie to reconsider her career choice. She went back to college, completed a second degree in Business Supervision & Management, and began a career in hospitality management, working at various country clubs and then at Marriott International.

More recently, before joining Richardson Real Estate Group, Stephanie worked for Keller Mortgage for a few years managing their Retail Loan pipeline. She was tasked with identifying problematic loans and finding solutions to help them close.

From growing up around the military to working in hospitality and in the mortgage industry, Stephanie’s experiences have shaped her into a confident, highly-adaptable, systems-oriented, problem-solving machine.
